About Us

The inspiration for Performance by Science was to bring innovative science-based ingredients to the sports supplement market.  Our founders are Crossfit Master's Athletes and avid amateur Olympic lifters that brought their science and business knowledge together for the love of fitness and the challenge of providing better solutions for fellow athletes.  After long nights and weekends in the garage tinkering and a lot of laboratory analysis our founders came up with a proprietary manufacturing process that improved the safety and shelf-life of native collagen and filed a patent for the use native type 2 collagen defined at the genetic level together with any mineral or amino acid to support healthy joint function.  Inner Strength is our effort to build on that work and is Performance by Science's first product.  Our goal is to keep bring new science-based ideas to the market that help athletes reach their potential and stay active and engaged in sport throughout their lives.
